Dal Colle history dates back to 1896, when Mr. Egidio Dal Colle founded the company. He was the first user of a special ingredient, which would become very successful in the following years: sourdough. In 1925 he got a gold medal in Milan, being nominated “Mago del lievito madre” [lit. "Sourdough Master”]. Nowadays Beatrice and Alvise (Dal Colle 4th generation) are proudly taking forward the founder’s business, with passion and determination.
